The Gilded Age
MAX

Season 4 opens with George stretched thin. He’s fighting for his western expansion while juggling pressure at home, where Bertha is pushing Gladys toward a Duke she doesn’t want. Their power struggle reached a breaking point with Gladys running away from home. Jack and the clock subplot is refreshing and we’re all rooting for him.

Stick
APPLE TV+

The show delivers its most emotional episode of the season. Pryce’s dream sequence isn’t just beautiful, it’s the quiet collapse of a man still haunted by what he lost. When his secret deal with Zero is exposed, the fallout hurts a lot of people. Santi’s sprint through the airport could’ve been cheesy, but it works because the show earns these moments of vulnerability. This was another episode that reminded me why I’m sticking with Stick.

Murderbot
APPLE TV+

Murderbot Episode 9 forces its lead out of detachment and into action with real consequences. When the team is cornered, Murderbot doesn’t just react it chooses. The episode tightens the emotional thread between Murderbot and Mensah as they face a coordinated threat. This episode was the moment Murderbot stopped hiding behind sarcasm and takes responsibility for the people around it. The season comes to an end next weeks’ finale.

That’s it for this week tv junkies. I’ll be back next week with a new rotation.
